SWEET BABY GIRL | CNY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

I can not believe it's been over 6 months since this little bundle of sweetness arrived. I am happy to have learned that her Daddy is home safely from his deployment and is bonding with these beautiful girls. I can't imagine how hard it must be to have a child you do not get to meet for 6 whole months. I am greatful for the incredible sacrifices that our Military men, women and children make for our well being. Sacrifices that can never be repaid, time that can never be given back. These little girls gave up their Daddy for 6 months, for you and me and our country. I'm sure it wasn't the first, and it probably won't be the last, so hug your loved ones tighter and support our troops, always.

Yet another snow day here in CNY. With all the cold and snow here in Central New York, How do you find ways to brighten up the days of winter?
Playing in the snow is always a favorite at our house, but sometimes the bitter cold temperatures force us indoors, so we have to be a little more creative...

Finger paints are always a fun, colorful way to break up the day. Although it is always followed by baths, laundry and lots of clean up!

I've thought for a while now about how I want to run this blog. I used to LOVE blogging, on my personal blog. By the time my second child came around there was little to no time left for my blogging days. I missed recording their lives and sharing with my other mama bloggers out there. I tried many times to get back to it, but throw in a business and another blog to keep up and...well, it just never happened.
So...I've decided to combine the two. While this will be a blog mostly for the business, you can expect little tid bits and a glimpse into our everyday lives as well.  After all, these girls are the inspiration for everything I do, and sharing them and the joy they bring me, will only help you to understand who I am as a person, as a mother, and as a photographer.
