Scott: 2012 Senior | CENTRAL NEW YORK SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

With all this rain in Central New York, we really need to get out and soak up these beautiful fall days whenever we can! I, for one, am ready to see the sun again for more than a brief break between storms.
Here's a sneak peek from Scott's session this past weekend when the sun was still shining and the weather was beautiful!!

Although this school year has seemingly just begun, some of us are all ready excitedly planning for next year ;) Scott is a 2012 Senior, and not afraid to get a head start on that senior checklist.

Fall is Here! | UTICA CHILDRENS PHOTOGRAPHER

We met up with Gavyn and his Mommy again in Oriskany for quick fall session. The rain was haunting us and the mosquito's were definitely swarming, but this little guy was a true trooper!
He is such a well mannered, delightful little guy. Three year olds may be the coolest people on Earth. Having a 3 year old my self, I won't say they are the easiest to live with ;) but by far, the conversations are always entertaining and fresh!

I have to admit that I am an iphone addict. I never thought I would be. I was always the type of person that could care less about what type of phone I had. As long as I could call, text and take pictures, I was happy. Then I was persuaded to get the iphone. (Thanks to my super cool sister in law.) Of course, then I had to get a super cool case to protect my new precious baby ;)

Then I found these!

This is an actual hard case, not a sticker, a case! How cool is that!?!

For most little ones, especially those under the age of 3, double sessions are just too much! But not for these beauties. I'm pretty sure they would have played along all day. I'm not sure they get much prettier than this right here.

This little girl is full of personality! I just love the face expressions she gives me. I photographed her as a newborn and she had the "looks" even then at 2 weeks old! She is a character and a pure beauty!

Hope you're having fun at the beach this week for your Uncle's wedding, Miss Erica! Wish we were there too!

COUNTRY SUMMER NIGHTS - CENTRAL NEW YORK CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHER

Those warm summer nights. As we were driving through one of the local villages tonight, I couldn't help but miss that neighborhood atmosphere and I could feel the nostalgia all around me. Driving down one of the side streets, we saw people out walking on the side walks, chatting with neighbors, kids playing and riding bikes, you could hear dogs barking and children laughing, and you could just smell summer in the warm soothing air. Then we came upon the number one icon of summer...the ice cream truck!! Instantaneously, that repetitive tune was again burned into my soul and I felt all the childhood memories flood back into my mind. With a smile on my face and a giggle in my heart, I continued home with my girls, wondering what their summer night memories would entail.

We don't have ice cream trucks in our neighborhood, but we do have bon fires, s'mores, ATV rides, and all the fireflies you can catch! I think we'll grab some ice cream bars from the freezer and head outside to play in what is left of the sunlight.

GAVYN-SNEAK PEEK-CEDARVILLE CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHER

A few years ago we joined a playgroup in our area. We were fortunate to meet many great moms and kids and have some great times getting together while the kids played and the moms enjoyed some much needed adult conversation. Gavyn and his Mommy were two of the first people we met from the group. He is an adorable little boy, full of energy to keep his Mama on her toes, and a kind hearted personality that will make you melt in his presence.

After two rained out attempts at a session we decided to take the chance and go for it, and guess what....more rain! So our session turned into more of a playdate, but I don't think Gavyn saw anything wrong with that ;)

The classic 3 year old smile :)

 This one is my favorites! 3 year olds are known for wanting to be independent, I love how he is holding on to Mom, just about ready to let go. Really tugs at my heartstrings.

And of course, the "Why do you keep sticking that camera in my face?" look.
